第二節(jié) 讀寫任務(wù)（共1 小題；滿分25 分）

閱讀下面的短文，然后按照要求寫一篇150 詞左右的英語短文。

Old people are always saying that the young now are not like what they were. The same comment is made from generation to generation and it is always true. The young are better educated. They have a lot more money to spend and enjoy more freedom. They grow up more quickly and are not so dependent on their parents. They think more for themselves and do not blindly accept the ideas of their elders. Every new generation is different from the one that preceded (先于) it. Today the difference is very great indeed.

The old always suppose that they know best for the simple reason that they have been around a bit longer. They don’t like to feel that their values are being questioned or threatened(威脅). And this is just what the young are doing. They are questioning the assumptions of the elders.

Traditionally, the young turn to the elders for guidance. Today, the situation might be contrary. In the modern society, we can’t deny that the old also can learn something from the young.
